Welcome to the Franciscan Guest House blog. We’re excited about this upcoming summer and we’re looking forward to giving you updates on the Franciscan Guest House, St. Anthony’s Monastery Estate, and events near Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. While summer is the busy season for the Guest House, off-season is not just for repairs and touch-ups…we welcome groups for retreats. Last fall, winter, and this spring, we had the pleasure of hosting several retreat groups. Check out Facebook for some pictures.

We also opened early this year for hotel guest stays which many people discovered to their delight. With this relatively temperate spring in Maine, they have enjoyed the empty beaches, trails, and restaurants. If you’re looking for a last minute affordable weekend get-a-way, give us a call and find out about our off-season rates.

We’re painting the pool, setting up the sun umbrellas and lounge chairs, mowing the lawn, brushing off the benches, and planting flowers. So please be welcomed to the Franciscan Guest House and St. Anthony’s Monastery whether it’s for a day visit or several days visit.
